WHERE YOU ARE SPAIN IS

A DIY Spanish vacation. A fakation, if you will. A little Balearic energy for your Sunday. Inspired by pics like this. (Because if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: you don’t need to be in Spain to be in Spain.)

Wear: this floaty D&D set—of freaking COURSE!— a salute to the breeze and ease of Cala Deia, Mallorca.

Listen: to all ten blissful hours of this playlist by Casa Balandra.

Drink: this clay-fermented, citrusy orange wine in whatever patch of sunshine is available to you (the ceramic bottles make for very festive water pitchers or vases once you’re done, and would pair nicely on the table with these salt bowls).

Cook: the recipe that will make a sardine-lover out of you. Eat from these cabana-striped (pool-safe!) sunny melamine plates. If you’re still on the fence sardine-wise, (cannot relate but) you could always just opt for an ornamental sardine such as this incense holder to set the tone.

Read: this gently heartbreaking classic, for its descriptions of Euro summers and rooftops baked a terracotta red. And this gaspingly beautiful + crisply shot Spanish food magazine!! Or just greedily trawl their instagram, as I have been.

DO: nap, whenever the mood strikes. And lather your body with this exquisitely fragrant summer oil.

Happy (Spanish!!) Sunday.
